Péter Siklósi is the Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning (Defence Policy Director) of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence since 2010. Prior to taking up the post, he worked as Defence Counsellor at the Hungarian Permanent Representation to NATO (2007-2010) and was head of the Defence Policy Department of the Ministry of Defence (2000-2007). His earlier assignments include posts of Defence Policy Advisor within the Prime Minister’s Office and the Parliament and that of a research fellow at the Institute for Strategic and Defence Studies. He is Vice President of the Hungarian Atlantic Council.
