Linas Linkevičius
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lithuania 

Linas Linkevičius is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, a position he has held since 2012. He is also a member of Seimas- Lithuanian Parliament (elected in 2016). Minister Linkevičius previously served as the Ambassador to Belarus (2012), Permanent Representative of Lithuania to NATO (2005-2011) and the Head of the Lithuanian Mission to WEU and NATO (1997-2000).  He also twice served as the Minister of National Defense: from 2000-2004 and 1993-1996. In 1992 -1996 Mr. Linkevičius was a member of the Seimas, where he held the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Seimas Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Head of the Seimas Delegation to the North Atlantic Assembly from 1922 to 1993.
