Péter Siklósi is the Deputy State Secretary for Defense Policy and Planning (Defense Policy Director) of the Hungarian Ministry of Defense, a position he has held since 2010. Prior to taking up the post, he worked as Defense Counselor at the Hungarian Permanent Representation to NATO (2007-2010) and was head of the Defense Policy Department of the Ministry of Defense (2000-2007). His earlier assignments include posts of Defense Policy Advisor within the Prime Minister’s Office and the Parliament and that of a research fellow at the Institute for Strategic and Defense Studies. He is Vice President of the Hungarian Atlantic Council.
