Mustafa Nayyem
Member of Parliment, Ukraine 

Nayyem was born on 28 June 1981 in Kabul, Afghanistan. Nayyem graduated from the Technical Lyceum in Kiev in 1998 and the Aerospace Systems Department of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 2004.
 
In 2004-2005, Mustafa worked as a correspondent for the Kyiv News department of the Context Media information agency. 
 
In 2005-2007, Nayyem worked as a reporter for the Kommersant newspaper, he has worked as a reporter and investigative journalist for Ukrayinska Pravda Internet news site since 2006.
 
In 2007, he started working as an editor and special reporter for Savik Shuster’s Svoboda. Later he became one of the Savik Shuster Studio editors.
 
In 2009, Nayyem became a TV presenter at “Chorne i bile” (“Black and white”) (joint project of Savik Shuster Studio and TVi channel). In 2011, he worked as an author and presenter of After Live (a program about Shuster live political show) at Pershyy Natsionalnyy. 
 
In 2014, he took part in special elections to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He ran as #20 on Petro Poroshenko Bloc party ticket and served as a deputy head of Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction. Now Mustafa Nayyem is a member of political party Democratic Alliance. He's a member of the Committee on issues of European Integration.
