CEPA Forum 2018
Opening Keynotes
As the challenges facing the Alliance continue to mount, all members are becoming Frontline States. In this era of heightened strategic competition, CEPA President Peter B. Doran opened the 10th CEPA Forum by outlining what must be done: win the 21st century through allied strength and solidarity.

Slovak Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miroslav Lajčák called on Alliance leaders to bolster the foundation of NATO—the ties that bind—while preparing for future challenges. U.S. Army G-8 Deputy Chief of Staff LTG James. F. Pasquarette highlighted the need to adapt to the evolving battlefield of the future, a goal that can only be accomplished through military modernization and sharing domains of expertise.
