Piotr Pacholski
Deputy Director of the International Security Policy Department in the Polish Ministry of National Defense.

He joined the Civil Service of the Polish Government in 2000 and has worked in Polish Ministry of National Defense in numerous positions related to defense policy with special focus on missile defense and WMD non-proliferation. Previously Mr. Pacholski worked as Director of Missile Defense Bureau (2007-2012) and General Counselor to the Undersecretary of State in Ministry of National Defense.

He has also been a lecturer at the WMD Defense Training Center at the National Defense University in Warsaw. Mr. Pacholski is the author or co-author of several publications in Polish on various aspects of defense policy. These include Proliferation of Missile Technology and Development of Missile Defense System; Preventive Diplomacy versus Preemptive Strike: Evolution of International Security Mechanisms and Polish Engagement in Countering WMD Proliferation and International Terrorism.

Mr. Pacholski graduated from the Institute of Political Science at Cardinal Wyszynski University, Warsaw. He has postgraduate certificates in Advanced Security Studies from the George C. Marshal European Centre for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, and in project management from the Warsaw School of Economics.
